Using rudder on a combat plane?

Is it against the normal combat rules to have 4 chanels on a combat plane?
I just built a SPAD with a rudder but I am a little confused as to the acceptance of the rudder and aileron use.

It is not against the rules at all. Most guys don't use a rudder to save the weight of an extra servo and linkage. For the same reason, some pilots don't use ailerons, but rather a high dihedral wing with rudder only control!

Last August:) I love the plane, and will be using one in the Paris Texas meet tomorrow! It's also my favorite plane for our local .15 class! I'm also using it in our local .46 class. My design was inspired by Ben Morrow and the Lil' Bull he kicked butt with at last Years combat NATS
