Hello, I am a speed fan and I would like to know your opinion about mounting an MVVS .45 in this aiplane

It has the old type carb which has mid throttle richness. Be sure to fit the latest type spray bar jet in it. That will cure it.
Other than that, it is an excellent engine that will outlast the plane.

I think that this engine is too heavy for a .25 airframe. Should I add weight in the tail in order to maintain the CG?

That plane flies combat using a .20 engine, and has zapp power using a hot.25
It would be a bear to fly with a .45

They fly great with a .25. That engine is way too HEAVY and too much power.

I have that exact model spitfire with an OS 35AX and it screams. I can get 133 in a dive, probably 115 level. That engine would require a lot of tail weight, and you might be approaching the airframe max speed, but who knows. Its a great model, me and my buddies have all 5 of them between us.
