Give that thing some gas!! Someone needs to make a full out pass with one of them. Just make sure you have plenty of room..

Great work Ken,
I know how hard it is to make them work properly. That little manual start Wren seems to push it along nicely, an afterburner would make all the difference though! That's when it gets difficult.
Beasley, finding the "room" to run these things is also difficult, and I'm sure there aren't too many places on Malta for Ken to run it.

smithy iv never droven a turbine engine it was the first time for me but ive got some little problems to take care of and then ill be making some fast passes for space its not trouble because ill be driving it in a full dragster drag strip

what size turbines are you you guys using? These things have monsterous thrust... they gotta moooove! I had to watch the vids with no sound but, it looked like you had brakes, if so.. what are you using?

well my turbine is a mw54 thrust is about 14 pound revs 160,000 and ive got fg 1/5 disk brakes . smithy will have to tell you he s specs

Hey All,
I've finally fitted the turbine engine into the chassis and fired her up yesterday, she's bloody thirsty though [X(], seems to work pretty well so far with no dramas to speak of.
Next to come will be the parachute pods, braking system and finally the bodywork. I had to put several paving bricks in front to stop her shooting off on me!! She's got a goodly amount of thrust and "should" run a nice mph too within the 264foot strip
......I hope!!
