Default brushless pan car

ok here i go i was going to set up my rj speed pro stock car with a mamba max 5700 on a 3cell lipo but i dont think it can handle that kind of power!!! and i dont want to get a gms car becuse i mostly race in parking lots and i dont think i would be able to maintain good enough traction with such a narow wheel base to go as fast as i want so would ae rc12l4 pan car be a alternative with out loosing to much speed becuase they both are direct drive cars! so my queston is if a gms prostock drag car with a mamba max 5700 0n a 3 cell lipo can go say 95-100 in 132ft will a rc12l4 pan car go about the same speed? if not how fast will a rc12l4 go with a mamba max 5700 on a 3cell lipo go? or mabe a 7700 combo on 3CELL LIPO? (that woud be bullistic) my goal is to get to 100 mph!!![>:] and it dosnt have to be in 132 feet

the rc12 is likly to go even faster than 100 mph because it sits so low to the ground and it is a bit lighter than a 1/10 scale. if you run a 7700 it cant take 3s lipo, it can only take 2s but i am not fully speaking from experence. look into gearing, for drag racing you can gear up if its only going at full throttle for 5-10 seconds, for more of a fun run keep gearing a little lower so you dont blow the motor/esc. to find the best layout for you get the largest, smallest, and the mid-tooth pinion and spur that will fit the car in all 3 pitches.

I can tell you this... On my AE rc10L3 touring with a 3s and 9200kv (3t trinity) I wasn't goin 100 and it took alot of messing around to even get the car to behave. I've gotten this car over 100 but, it was alot of trial and error ( not to mention money). Now the car is fitted (more like wedged) with a Neu 1515, Quark 125monter and a 4s. I have to crawl to top end... if I apply any decent juice through the power-band the car goes ape $H!T in a hurry.

Personally I think you would be better on the 1/10 platform if you are looking to power through on a direct drive pan chassis. For fun, through the 7700/3s on an awd platform! You can beat on her all day and get her there fast.

Castle has the new 9,000 out where you can run 2s lipo. 5700 X 3= 17,100

9,000 X 2= 18,000

Now that I look at this I know someone is wrong..... [&:]

its kv times total voltage, now # of cells.9000 on 2s lipo wold be 66600 rpm. 7700 on 2s would be 56980rpm. the 9000 is almost 10000 rom more on 2s.

yep.. per kv

9000 X 7.4 (2s) = 66.6k (bad number eh haha)

18000 would be if you ran 1/2 a 1s pretty much.
