Default Help with a Nitro Drivetrain

I am looking into building a rail set up with the pictured drivetrain or something similar. (got this photo in one of these posts some time back and can't remember where.) I'm planning a steel brakeline frame with a lexan body on this badboy.

If anyone can direct me to a supplier of that type of setup let me know!
Thanks.

The cheapest way to get that direct drive gear setup would be to buy the bulhead , crown wheel and pinion from a Hot Bodies Hellfire nitro buggy kit I think it is. You need to use quarter inch axle and make up a hub to mount the gear to the axle and get the correct size bearings. If you are building a framed car , are you talking about something like a new era style car?

I want something scale looking. I think I am going a framed chassis this time. I experimented with a flat alumium plate for the frame by mounting the engine and rear axel housing to it. Probably go with a lighter weight frame rail system and the one in the previous post from dragconcepts. Just experimenting now. I need a new project.

Thanks for the info.
