Default Help me choose my first drift car.

So I'm looking at getting into the rc drift scene. Anyone got suggestions on a good model for a drift beginner. Budget is around 250usd, thanks in advance.

No clue. I'm more of a dirt loving guy who is trying to broaden his love for the hobby. I'll be watching the thread though as I have been kicking the idea around as well. 1/10, 1/8 scale? I pretty much looked at most them. Vaterra and Associated are top contenders on my list so far. Vaterra for the Ford in me, and Associated ...well, it's Associated . I was dead set on 1/8 scale until I saw this the other day:

Thank you Associated! https://www.teamassociated.com/parts/details/30119/

I definitely will check back for other's input as I continue the search for my next ride. If and when it happens... It takes me while to zone in on potential platform.

Well, after further looking into, I have been told some parts are low inventory for the Associated Apex. Whatever that means . Maybe I'll just have to be okay with my on-road SC10 make-over for now .

I went ahead and bought a tamiya tt-02d chassis. I'll updated you guys when it gets here. Should be a fun build, it comes as a kit.
