Dont bother buying the drift kit. Use your original car and put PVC piping on instead of the tyres and it works really well, just as good as the yokomo. I now bring two sets of wheels round my mates. 1 set of normal and the drift tyres so we can have two different sorts of races. You can even put them on nitro cars and they work just as well.

WOW! [X(] Not many of you know your cars....

For those who are still confused... it's a 180SX NISSAN body made by Yokomo. It runs about 40 dollars (just the body!). You can set the lights at 3 different levels. The kit will run $200, and that's without the electronics. I think it's a rip off since it's just a duplicate of the TC3. It's basically the RTR TC3 in kit form, with a nice body and Yokomo drift tires.

BTW, nice body

Ok, I have to clear this up a bit, I'm picky about Nissan's check my sig and you'll see why.

The Yokomo body pictured in the first post is a 180SX

The 180SX (hatchback) is NOT A SILVIA. It came with a CA18DET, not an SR20DET.

The S13 Silvia is not a hatchback, it is a coupe.

In the US, however, both cars were imported as 240SX, both cars share the S13 chassis code, and both cars recieved the KA24DE DOHC engine (from 1991 up, 1989 and 1990 have the KA24E SOHC and are easily spotted by the two vents int he frint bumper, called the "pignose") which is essentially a Nissan light truck engine.

I'm not trying to be an ass, I'm just trying to make sure everyone has their facts straight.

Oh, and nice body R2Drift2
