Default RC car Chasis

hey i was just wondering how does all rc chasis's fit all different companys chasis's dont they go on in different ways? like i notice some tamiya models have this connector rod like thing to the chasis but the yokomo drifters dont have those rods... what the heck?

i think you mean "do all bodies fit on different company's chasis?" well as long as the bodies are the right size, 200mm/190mm

"connector rod" i think you mean "body post" and you put holes in the body where the post will go
