Default Xmod drifting !!! for real !!! in PA.

We have an Xmod race almost every Friday night ! Smooth concrete + twin turbos + steering mods + AWD = the best Xmod drifting I have ever seen. I do all the mods to the cars. Check our site for details !!!

At that scale, it's hard to get anything to drift right. but we're doin' it ! Some of us are fully sideways to setup for the turns, and sideways all the way through them. I wonder if you did the same mods we did ? I agree that they don't do much stock, but after the steering resistor swap and turbos, it really wakes the cars up.
I am a long time MiniZer, and I can say that after a few Xmod races, they both have their advantages.

hi i was just wondering if the cars in that video are petrol cars because i could not tell because of all the fake car sounds that had been put in so any ways if any one could fill me in on the info of the type of cars and what the cost of one would be if i wanted to buy one and if any one would be kind enough to post a good drifting video that would be nice to and last but not least could some one tell me the actual size of the cars in centimeters or intches (centermeters prefered) and if they are petrol what strenght engin eg. the cc's the horse power and the size thing (you know the .40 or whatever) so i would like it if some one would answer all my questions it would be much obliged

imxlr8ed, i agree with you i just gotten the awd kit and the drift tire kit. them i lock the front and rear differentials and they drift really good. but the only downside is that is drifts only to the left so im still trying to figure that out. And im using the radioshack recharble batteries they last for about hour and half on a full charge.

Yeah... it's a battle to get them even, I have had bunches of problems with other's cars not drifting evenly, Main problem for most is when the wheels are cranked to the left, the front left axle likes to pop out of the d hole in the front left diff gear, thereby making your car a 3WD.
It's all of the play in them that causes it. I have installed a wide bearing on the inside of the knuckle to help with this, but with the tight turns resistor mod, it still is a recurring problem for some. But, I will tell you, that getting the twin turbo, and that resistor mod, really makes these cars perform 110% better. We are drifting on very smooth concrete, running the stock tires. The Xmod thing has dropped off for us though lately... everyone is busy with their Zs, And the new RCP ! I'm sure we'll get back to it soon though !

Check out Atomic Mods ! Probably has the best info. on this stuff.

http://www.atomicmods.com/tutorials/...ns_Install.htm

http://www.atomicmods.com/faq.htm

You should be able to locate descriptions of a turbo on the second link !

It's the only way to go with the Xmods, I can drift my car on concrete with an 8 degree GPM tire !

MAH is not so important as punch... I used to think that way for a longtime. I now run Rayovacs from Walmart, and they are only 700mah... the key is fully discharging them after every use. This lowers the internal resistance of the battery, making them more "punchy". Right now I am using a Lacrosse battery charger which has a 500mah discharge cycle, works perfect. If you want to get serious... either an Ice charger or a Superbrain 959. Best batteries out there right now are probably the Intellect AAAs.

Remember, it's usually not what batteries... it's how you treat them that counts. discharge after every use, and give a full charge before usage. It'll help tremendously !

Here is a thread on my website which can help clarify alot of this. (probably more education than you'll care for ![:'(])
Good luck !

I dont care that doesnt mean squat to me. like experts tell noobs to go beyond page 1 to find answers and then they trip about posts getting bumped back to the top. This is complicated[:@]
