Not bad, my only suggestions are to clean up the wiring, convert to deans ultra plugs, and directly solder the ESC to the motor. Not only for looks, but to drop the electrical resistance and increase your car's efficiency and run times.

I was thinking about deans. Are they relativley easy to install???/ I am not very good at soldering. BY the way that stock motor works great for drifting. I will also be getting some custom rims made and my body painted as soon as my exams done,,,, stay tuned.

Deans ultra plugs are not difficult if you have the right tools. I recommend a 'helping hands' jig to make the job easier, aswell as a good soldering iron and desolder braid incase you make any mistakes.

How are you going about getting custom rims made?

*staying tuned*

My uncle owns a precision plastics business. So he is making me a one piece drifting rim. The whole rim will be one piece with the drifting surface attached. They are going to be black and modeled after the rims on the Nismo z tuned skyline that was released recently. I don't know when they will be done, but i will post pics of my car when its all done

Sounds pretty cool. The only thing that doesn't seem right is to wear out your rims and tires.

The plastic he is making them out of is really strong and i don't think they will wear very much.

Your car looks great,I think the "tweel" type setup would be cool....whats the worst thing you have to do....put a abs "tire" on it after its worn down. What body have you got? The deans plugs are great and I also like the Sermos(?) The red and black ones that are flat and lock together.

An Infinity G35 'skyline' or an R34 skyline? Have any pics of the one you're reffering to?

Oh wow, that is one hell of a clean rig. Gotta give Nismo a pat on the back for their clean but well suited tunes. $190,000.00 [&o] That would take me a while to pay off!

Polycarb paint will work fine with plastics, it's made for it....

Well it is dull, i.e. it's not a glossy paint. You can use a clear coat over it to give it a gloss finish though. I would just do flat silver to simulate aluminum, but that's just me.

I live in Oregon, so our winters are cold and wet to say the least. I don't let that get me down though, I goto the local paint store and purchase a clear plastic drop cloth and drape it over everything within 10 ft. of my work area and get a couple of box fans to suck the fumes out the window. I paint it in the house which remains 60-70*F and it works perfectly. The drop cloth catches all of the over spray and the fans provide plenty of ventilation. If you have a small space heater that's portable you can set it up in your garage or work area and try to maintain a decent temperature. Whatever you do, don't paint it under the recommended temperature. This can really screw up a nice body by having the paint dry before it hits the body, have a chemical reaction and fog the paint (much like ca glue on model cars), or worse...
