Default NOOB here

Hey, I'm a noob so don't worry I'm ready for all the jokes and insults. I've been looking at some R/C forums for a couple weeks now after some talk about them on my local car club forums and finally decided to buy one. I've wanted an R/C since we used to hang out at my local hobby shop a few years ago and watch everyone pratice and race on weekends. I like drifting so when I found out you can do this on an R/C I was like "hell yea thats what im buyin" I'm picking mine up in a couple weeks when I get paid. I'm getting a pretty good deal on a Tamiya TT-01 NSX with everything to get you started. When I pick up my car I'm also gonna get a couple extra batteries and see what they have for little upgrades too. Nothin major now just maybe like an extra set of wheels so I can have my drift wheels and race wheels and not have to switch the tires, and maybe a motor heatsink cause I know especially at first I'm gonna be using it alot. Any other reccomendations to a noob like meyself is welcom. I can't wait till I pick it up.

haha, Yea I know. I'll get used to driving it first and I already have some spare 2" pvc piping in my garage and I can just chop up some of that stuff and make some drift tires out of that. I want my car now. lol waiting sucks.
