It is a Hotly Debated Subject.
With Nitro Tyre Wear is a BIG factor.

I dont like Nitro in general ( Except in Heli's and Planes)
I have had people complaining about throttle control not being as precise making Technical courses alittle hard..

I Just prefer the Direct response and low matenience of Electric...

drifting my nitro put a lot of wear on many parts. I have destoryed 5 brake disks, melted 4 gear housings, and melted 5 clutches thus far. I had to cut out EVERY window to keep the engine cool enough and I live in so cal where the temp is usually 75 all year long. If you use the 'pipe' tires and not the rings, they last fairly wll, as I have had my 'pipe' tires for about 4 months now.
I would keep the car 4 wheels drive, even though it isn't true drifting as with only the rear wheels it is next to impossible to keep any sort of control.
Most people who run electric drifters won't let me run with them, as the nitro puts exhaust residue on the track, so I usually just do my own thing in the driveway or park. It's also hard to find shells other than skyline and silvias that fit the 200mm nitro body, but there are a FEW 190mm wide bodies that wil fit.
I love the nitro drift car, but it is a challenge to drive, and hard to find someone to drift against.

Most Indoor circuits wont let you drift with a Nitro Either..

I cant see why they wouldnt let you join in on a Car park drift, unless it was night time... No body wants to hear a weed wacker at 9pm at night, another advantage of Drifting Electric, less cost, less noise and Just as much fun..

I have a nitro rs4. If you are like me and you look for realism then nitro might be an option but it does cost alot of money replacing parts. Do you already have nitro? If not tuning can be kinda difficult. I'm about to buy a tt-01 in the next week. So I can drift in my house and other places where I can't take my nitro.

will i just went to lake balboa its located in the van nuys area just a few blocks away, before it was only heli and airplanes but know they added a larger area for cars and yes there is a sign that saids it. this was my first nitro and i have to say i like the sound it makes better then elect to me becuase i love the real think cars that is. the sound of in engine rev or racing is one fun thing to see pluse it only takes me 15min to charge my batts and im off. there called t3s or something like that says on it 15mins you do have to buy the charger for it. you can find it at frys electronics. and another thing i was somewhat drifting with this car it has the torgue for it so torque its not a problem here. abs or electric tape should be use i think electric tape would work great. ill try it tomorrow
