You'll need to set the car up in the opposite way to plastic tyre setup, i.e. uber hard suspension + locked diffs

lol im not after a polished floor, with the rpm my engine has i wouldnt need tape if i had a polished floor,
Anyway i locked the rear diff yesturday but i wouldnt need to lock the front would i?

O i thought he meant like he didnt have smooth drifting tires and wanted to drift.. if thats it, im doing the same thing, i just wrapped my tires with electrical tape.

does anyone know who sells the pvc or abs thats already been cut to size to fit onto the rims? i know someone on ebay in the uk used to but i cant find him now.

Drifting with rubber requires tons of time dialing in your chassis. Like Kev said, you want a hard suspension, but not so hard that the chassis bounces. You'll also want to dial in some camber. To get real results, you might want to go with some real drift rubber (i.e. Pit Shimizu Dunlops, Yokomo drift radials, HPI Stage D's, Tamiya drift tires, etc.) Nitros will have an easier time drifting with rubber, but a nice brushless like the Novak SS4300 will work as well.
