With a TB02 you may not need to lock the rear diff completely. Have you tried tightening it? if you tighten it, be careful, as it is very easy to over-tighten the diff on a TB02 and snap them.

btw is there a huge flame war going on...you cant drift a 2WD and thats that...its been done and tried already...4WD is the way to go for RC drifting

i have an old nitro car ; Alpha 3 gp is it possable to drift with this car as far as i know everythin is stock on it apart from the oil filled shocks thnx.

I have a TT-01 that I have loads of fun when drifting. 4WD is definately my preference for drifting RC cars.
On a side note--->that does not seem to be the case with full scale drift cars. The Mazda RX-7, Toyota Supra, et al...they are all rear two wheel drive, correct?

haha oh god these forums are priceless they entertain the hell outta me everytime im on first of AznBash3r if you didn't want to get burned you never should have mentioned nikko on here people on here in the drift section including myself recognize companies like associated,tamiya,yokomo and hpi not company's that allow you to buy thier products out of the sears wish book lol dear god get some cash together and buy a real car with all those mods you threw on that nikko you could have had a tt-01d but hey what do i know i've only been into this hobby for 18 years of my 25 years on this planet power to ya if you wanna start the toys r us RWD drift (read) donut comp then feel free we'll see how well it takes off i'll be waiting a toys r us tomorrow morning awaiting the start of this facinating new segment of our hobby........wait a minute we have a hobby you have a nikko lol
