I had a gen 1, in fact I had about 4 or 5 of them... put the 2 cell lipo setup on mine with the hopped up motor off a xmod website... had switchblade chassis and all that good stuff.. thing would do like 40mph... was insane...

but I got bored with all of them and sold em...

I may go get me one of these though before they sell out ...

I have never seen them ever over 35 - 40 dollars. I have many of the evolutions. When I catch them onsale usually around 25 at the radioshack near my home.

ahah..i havnt touched my xmod in a while...i got a stock honda civic one..used to drift my living room whoch i got hard wood floors...also i connected my 7.2volt battery pack to it once and taped it on top of the car...tha car had ALOT of power and barly moved when i hit the throttle cause all it did is burn out...so after i get some speed and drift it it drifted so smooth cause all tha weight pulled the car sideways...after driving tha motor was super hot tho...

i just got a hummer xmod.
and no truck and car chassis are really different. the trucks have articulation points and cars dont. the mounting points are in different places, and basically a car is a car a truck is a truck with these rc's

No offense but that is a bit confusing. They are really different I have 4 or 5 XMOD cars and 3 of the trucks. They are completely different chassis.

I have seen quite a few people drift with XMOD's. Not easy but can be done.

they can drift, I have seen them ... but the catch is to find the happy medium between traction, and no traction....

I have found out that the 4wd is a must, which I put in my truck helped out a lot....

I am going to try a few different types of setups with the stock motor....

I will post some results and what I used and what it done for me when I get a chance....

I would love a tc4 but I just have too many rc's right now I just don't have the extra funds for it

yeah awd is essential for everything xmod
you have to learn to control better the car because xmods are imprescise. i use them for practice. when i get to my tt01 in the evenings, my driving is always better than the day before
