RE: Tamiya Subaru Drift Spec Build
Im very satisfied with mine. But I am disapointed in the Tamiya drift tyres that are included. They have too much grip for our asfalt track. Maybe on a smoothe gym floor or something they are good....
I used some PVC tyres instead, and its great.
I dont think there is a need to get the alu shaft, as long as you dont use anything faster than the included Sports Tuned motor.
I have a normal TT-01 with bearings, oil shock, and alu shaft and pvc rings, and honestly, there is not alot of difference in handling.....if any at all. They are both fantastic!
But the Drift Spec is better stock out of the box, and you get more for your money, compared to a normal TT-01.

There is not much too it......
Just wash the inside of the body in warm water and washing up detergent before painting..... and make sure it is dry before painting . Leave the protecting film on the outside of the car on , until you are ready to apply the markings. Use tamiya masking tape for great results, and let the paint dry before spraying on the next coate. Also use polycarbonate paint for these bodys, and not regular spray paint found in hardware stores.
Thats about it
