Default DRIFTING MINIS

I was wondering about minis and drifting. Are minis good for this or should you just go ahead and purchase a 1/10 scale? Any opinions?

It's honestly all up to you. I love my micro rs4, but places to run it are limited. You need a decently flat parking lot with no bumps.. It's the same way with my Nitro RS4 too, though. but not as bad.

"To Each His Own" If you want to go with micro, thats excellent to be different. but personally I'd get a 1/10; thats jus my opinion

I am guessing that there are more suitable surfaces for larger sizes(1/10 scale and so on) than there would be for a mini. Are minis harder to drift with than larger cars? I have read about a drift control mechanism on the new HPI drift mini. Is this necessary for drifting or does it just make drifting easier?

just take into consideration that 1/10 scale drifters are far more customisable than micros, but micros is startin to pick up.

hmmm..... good q. well for micros, the most reasonable good answer is the electric tape around the current tires

That's what I do. I've heard of people using film canisters also.
