Default tc4 question

Could I take the bone stock toned down version...[link=http://www.hobbieguyrc.com/shop/cart.php?target=product&product_id=16511&category_ id=353]Like this[/link] and make it look like [link=http://www.rcmart.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=420_34&products_id=15344] This[/link] with the time and money...I just don't have all the money right now to just buy it and I would rather build it if I got it up to that level....could I put the graphite chassis and top tower on there and all the same parts?

Yeah, course it can be done but if you are gonna buy new then you really need to work out roughly how much it will cost for the upgrades.

I can tell you now it will be way cheaper to save for a bit more and buy the Factory outright, have a think bout it mate.

Yeah. If it's in a kit, it will be cheaper (since it's a factory kit) to buy it as one. However, if you're a budget builder (like most of us) just piece it together. Matter fact, I'd just right down all the parts in the kit and stick it to my refrigerator. Then, as I get the parts, check'em off.

i assume you're planning to enter a lot of races with it, because that would be the only reason to buy or build the factory team version. no use throwing all that money at an everyday drifter...

Although I do run on a budget so I will most likely be building it over time...I like neon_guys Ideo for doing it...so simple and yet so worth it. thanks for it all...this is all if I have the money at the time....so i have to do the figures and do my own research...but this is my ideal project.

that's EXACTLY wat i did for my TC4. I bought it bone stock just like how youre doing. I bought pieces piece by piece starting with a new chassis. I still have a few more things to buy but its pretty much finished. FYI...i got most of my parts from EBAY. Anyways...if you want...i can post pictures.
