Default RECIEVED All my hop-ups, got a ques.

I reciently order a bunch of hop-ups for my ta05, and ive got a few questions.

1. Also, my swaybar kit came with 2 paxckages, each has 3 differen thicknesses of bars. One package with long sway bars, and one with shorter sway bars, which are for the front, and which are for the rear?? And for drifting with ABS which thickness would you reccoemnd for front and rear??

2. The second is i need a diff bolt, and nut. Ive looked and i cant find them, i tried to have my LHS order them for me, and for some reason it didnt work out. Anyone know of any sites that sell the parts??

with Tamiya's it usually gives fitting details of some option parts near the back of the build manual, as for parts, i know a place but its in the UK.

Ok, well u figured out which sway bar goes where, but i still need adsvice on which thicknesses to use, ive got soft, med and hard for the front, and rear. and im gonna go to another local hardware store to see if they have the bolt and nut. I know the part #, for the bolt and nut and im gonna keep looking for it.

if it were me, i'd use medium front and hard rear, so the front isnt too twitchy and the rear grips well, depends on your surface and driving style. if i aint much help, find a TA05 thread, and as for the parts type 'Tamiya' then the part number and see what it comes up with.

Personnally I would Soft sway in the front and tiff in the rear to get the back end to kick out more.

Im gonna propbabl run soft all the way around, or maybe even just soft in the rear. the local drifters i know reccoemneded this becuase with anything more then sof, the suspension is just too stiff for drifting with ABS.

You got your bolt yet mate?

Few of my extra hop-ups turned up, the solid front diff is fantastic as a spool for the rear, proper lockout
