Default help some questions

Ok first back ground
TT-01R
Tamiya Reinforced One-Piece Spike Wheel with ABS wheels
Venom 6-Cell 3000mAh NiMH Stick
Protoform Cadillac CTS-V R 190mm Body
Futaba S3003 Servo Standard
Novak XRS Reversible Sport ESC

Ok so my car is done and i went to test it out, it slides very nice, only one thing is it seems to be way easier to get the back out in one direction then the other, Im not sure why this is? is it cause the pack is on one side, is tourqe steer from the shaft? could if be my wheels arnt maken even contact?

i also noticed my alignment was way off, so i went back inside and reset my servo and steering links, the wheels seem to be straight now, i also filed off some of the plastic nubs on the steering linkage that where left from snapping them off the holder when building. I think this was causing some binding. it was way to late and cold out to test and see what impact this had.

also i read about poeple locking up the rear difs, and getting a "one way dif" in the front, what would this do, what benfits would i see from doing this?

i cant wait to try out my car on a nice smoot tennis court, i was drifitng in apakring lot covered in salt and rocks, it was hard to say the least.
once again guys thanks for the help in advance.
