>:( Dead motor?
First of all I would like to introduce my self, Hi!
As for my question/rant, I just bought a 13tx2 for my tt-01 about a week ago and only ran it twice. It was an Orion Method. I hooked up my battery and was about to go out and get sideways, but it sounded like the battery was dead. I took off the body and the motor was whining and not turning over. Is it dead? Is it normal for it to go out in like 4 days? Btw here is a picture of my queen.

Remove the motor and see if the drive train is bound up it should move freely. Spin the pinion gear on the motor that should also spin easily. If those turn out to be good, then look into your electrics, ESC and trans and receiver. Check all wiring.

unload the motor and Check again ..
Unloading means pulling it out of the car, connecting it to the esc and squirting the throttle
Just be careful as the rotational forces can pull the motor out of your hand if your not careful..
If the motor revs fine, then there is a binding in the gearing.
if it still squeels, try rotatiing the motor by hand, you could have a small stone jammed in the can..
Failing this, rebuild the motor it isnt too hard if you follow their instructions.
If you find the motor freely spins by hand, check your Batts.. your charger could be faulty.
If after all this, then It will be the ESC at fault.. Test this.. by using another ESC in the car.. or transfering your currrent one to some one currently working..
It is a case of process by elimination..

RE: >:( Dead motor?
Turned out that the battery was fubared not the motor. I am using a LRP AI up to 12t ESC so that wouldn't have been the problem. I looked like such a retard waving it around saying fix it at the LHS and they were like.....battery. That's ok I go there at least 5 times a week, they know me lol.
So it's all good thanks guys.
