metzb1 - I have bought lots of blue ball studs in the past, to upgrade the looks of chassis'. Unfortunately, they are somewhat weaker than the normal brass ones, and a lot weaker than the steel ones. I must've broken 3 in the past 3 months!
As for the RX-7 body, it's available from Tamiya and fits straight on a TT01, though you'll want 2-3mm offset to make it look right
Chris.

As they break, I think I'll replace them with the 5mm ball links that thread on to a steel grub screw. Those are a lot stronger and only a little heavier.

RE: Tamiya TA05R by C.A.R.
I finished the TA05R kit a couple of nights ago. Really did go together nicely and was a pleasure to build. The diffs are so smooth and the driveline seems very efficient. Shocks are like buttah! I painted a C5R body for it, picked up some Kyosho mesh wheels, and mounted everything up. Looks pretty good, IMO. When I get the ball nuts right and Tamiya sends me a new sticker page to fix the curled up window stickers that came with the body, I'll post some pics.
