TT01 is your best way into the hobby, but watch out as you'll be paying £150+ for each car that's drift RTR or 125 for a standard RTR.
If you can build them yourself you can get a TT01 deal for 99 quid.

I work in a Tamiya retail unit in Stevenage, Hertfordshire, so we're UK based and official distributers. The link above is useless to you, Towerhobbies is based in the US and what you don't pay for the kit you'll get stung for on shipping/customs.
If your after something more on the toy market you might be able to source some Nikko RC cars for the pair of them. Nikko released all the officially licensed cars for the Tokyo Drift movie. Nikko is based in Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire. We no longer stock their products, as we have run out of room!
Be aware that Nikko cars are just TOYS, not an upgradeable hobby car.
Good luck!
Chris.

RE: Sister Drifting ?
actually the nikko's can drift and do very well for a 5 or 6 yr old, my son got one last X-mas, and has done quite well learning how to drift with it, they are pretty durable for what they are capable of, and a great learning vehicle. I will, once my son is good enough, upgrade him to a hobby quality car, but until then I did not want to spend the money if he did not stick with it. I think the Nikko cars are around $40.00 bucks and you can buy additional batteries for $15.00 each. we found the car at Toys r us and the batteries at wal-mart.
Hope this helps.

Yeah. I was gonna say Nikko for that age. They look good and drift good. Once they get a little older, if they're still into it, then they can move into a hobby grade car.

Get em a HBX each, u get em of ebay for around 80 bucks and you can get a lancer and skyline so the get a different one each. There fully upgradeable and take tamiya tl01 parts. theres threads here for them so you can read up on them or get help. It comes with a book that has every part in it and the number, all you do is go onto tamiya website and type in the part number and its there. Very good quality car for the price.
Go have a look, ill bet ya you will buy it.
Good Luck, From Brendon.v
