Default Pinion Gear and Spur Gear question.

im running on 19t pinion and 61t spur gear. its really fun to use for a long donut. Now im thinkin that i wanna do something different. What pinion gear and spur gear do you guys recommend for drifting on tight corners?

thanks everyone.

Tuning means changing either to Oil Filled Shocks or experimenting with Different Oil and Spring combo's to find one suited to you...

If you havent locked the rear diff, do so with Blu-tac and try for a Different motor like a Super Stock RZ or TZ motor.

25/55 isnt a great combo for drifting it doesnt have enough torque, its great for high speed runs tho
if u wanna stick with the standard 61 spur you can go up to 19-22 tooth pinion

I'm running a 19t with 72/26 gears. I can do long sweepers and tight manuevers really well. And, the motor doesn't heat up to quickly. It's a good combo. There are plenty more aggressive setups, but this one seems to be a good mix for me. I'm also running a lock'd rear, oil filled shocks, and very STIFF springs. I'm thinking of going back to my stock, softer springs to better handle the road conditions, but we'll see. As things sit now, I'm aces bro. ACES!!!!!!
