Hi guys, one of my friend has a nitro drift RS4 3 and I find it particularly cool to drift at (relatively) high speed.
my question is this : I have a nitro 4 tec 3.3 and I would like to know what can I do to make it drift nicely
So far I know the car has to be balanced but I,m not sure balanced how ? balanced about the center axis and put more weight in the back ? or is it in the front ? Im planning to balance it by sticking some lead weight or something like this.
also I know I havel thighten my diff ( or lock them if possible)
should I set up the transmission so that the second gear gets on very early so I will get more rpm ?
any help is appreciated, thanks

i have a lightning which is a red cat... i locked the diff .. but it made it harder to control and drift so i would say throw on some drift tires first, see how that works.. then just start changing different stuff like lock the diff with silly putty so its easy to remove. it pretty tough to make a touring car (build to go straight) and turn it into a drifter... ur better off just buying a r/c thats is set up for drifting... i just bought a tamiya tt-01 drift spec as u can see my fourm My first Ele... Drifter.. this will be my first electric powered r/c
