cannot find abs pipe - help please
 

I am going to try to drift my MGT 8.0, i can not find the black abs pipe to fit over a standard mt wheel. I am wondering what else I can use? Will fernco pieces work? (the rubber pipe joints) I know I can use pvc, but its not black, and its really slick.
Ive looked in home depot, lowes and a plumber depot thats been around for 70 + years, neither have abs pipe in a larger diameter.

Any thoughts or links to what I can use.

Anybody know where I can find 3-1/2" abs pipe?

Have u tried any plumbing stores? Like strictly plumbing

IVE TRIED 1 PLUMBING STORE NEAR MY WORK, BUT THEY DONT CARRY IT OR KNOW OF ANYONE WHO DOES. I AM STILL ON THE SEARCH FOR IT. IM GONNA STOP BY A FEW PLACES TONIGHT LIKE TRUE VALUE, ACE HARDWARE, AND ANOTHER LOCATION TO CHECK. I HAVE THE WHEELS WITH ME TO CHECK SIZING, BUT AS OF RIGHT NOW ITS NOT LOOKING GOOD. (AND YES THE ABS PIPE IS THE BLACK PLASTIC PIPE - LIKE PVC BUT NOT)

aNYBODY KNOW IF THE FERNCO JOINTS WILL WORK, OR WILL THEY HAVE TO MUCH GRIP ON A 40 SERIES WHEEL?

P.S. MY CAPS BUTTON IS LITERALLY STUCK ON MY WORK COMPUTER - IM NOT YELLING

ABS is not legal in many localities that's why you may not find it in your area, your best bet is the internet but I seriously doubt you will find 3 1/2 pipe. ABS in larger sizes does not come in 1/2 increments it jumps from 3" to 4". Forget the fernco rubber, too grippy to drift.

sheet, i picked up a couple peices of that fernco stuff. im gonna mount it and see what happens. i doubt it will drift. it felt less grippy in the store but now that its home and on a couple wheels, it feels to tacky. sucks. i guess the only option i have pvc
