I have no clue about it I had a nitro car from recat and it was hard to wasn't fun but after trying this hpi its so much nicer and easy to drift I did added hobbywing ezrun sensored brushless system to it very smoth. I'm thinking of getting a taymia chassis just not sure which is good so many to choose from lol.

Cuba - I had a sprint 2, it was one of my first chassis, I had it counter steered to 1.5, I moved on to many other chassis since then but it slides nice when you tune it right, you just have to get a little weight up front and get the rear suspension to bite a little as she tends to be a bit butt whippy.
Here is a picture of my sprint 2 with some alloy hop ups, I sold it not too long: http://i851.photobucket.com/albums/a...IMG_0735-1.jpg I was at the track yesterday (saturday) and today doing some tweaking on a LOSI chassis and my Tamiya VDF, these are my two main chassis now. If you are looking for another chassis I highly recommend the VDF, after drifting the sprint 2 when you slide the VDF you will immediately see the difference in this chassis, it was designed for drifting. Shoot me a pm if you want to meet, we can get the Jersey guys too come out to and get a good session going. |
RE: New to drifting in NJ
its a big posibility we will do this show
|
RE: New to drifting in NJ
you can also get the aluninum plate for the sprint 2, it will distribute the weight throughout the chassis

That chassis looks sick sounds like I will be looking to get that one. Do you have the gold one or blue.
