locked vs one way vs stock diffs ?
Help I am a newb to drifting...I have a sprint 2 drift and an e10...my question relates to my e10....can u guys explain and advise on which diffs are better for a brushless castle powered e10 on 2s or 3s on semi smooth oil and chip road? And what battery posts/holddowns will work with2s/3s batteries? Thanks for all your input!!!!!!

Hi there, if you message ToraKitsu he knows lots re drifting.. I haven't seen him on here in a week or so but if you private message him I'm sure he will get back to you.. As far as batteries go, I run 2s overlander 4250 lipos in my drifter

Honestly, anything over 2s for drift is overkill. Regarding the diffs, a 1way diff is for the front only. When youre on the throttle, all 4 wheels get power. When you hit the brake, only the rears will get brake, acting like an e-brake. The front will just roll freely under braking. I use a 1way inthe front, and a locked diff in the rear, otherwise known as a spool.

Same as above, I use 2s max with a locked rear and front one way diff, which gives the effect of hand braking

in 4wd drifting yes 2s battery only. oneway in front and spool in the rear.

Whether you go for 50/50 drifting, cs drifting or two wheel drive drifting, 2s is more than enough
