New Guy, Bear with Me
(Before anything is said, I have been using the search function but to little or no effect.)
Hey! Fairly new to the RC world. I just inherited my dad's old Team associated rc10 and have been having a blast with it but I've been wanting to get into drifting since I first learned about it and a RWD buggy isn't really the optimal thing to do that(I've pretty much made the tires bald doing powerslides). I was looking at getting a Tamiya TT-01e or ed. I was also hoping to get a kit so I can figure out everything about the car myself. I know I need the radio/servos/batteries/etc but I wasn't really sure where to start. I was hoping to figure out what would be best for what I was hoping to do with it as well as any hop ups that would make learning easier. My budget is somewhere around $300-350 though can be a bit flexible depending on if its necessary. I was also hoping to get suggestions on a brushless motor for later use when I get better(a fairly decent one that isn't too hard on the wallet). Thanks in advance! |
Turnigy motors on Hobby King are a great investment in my opinion
Super cheap and great quality I'm also a drifting noob, just picked up the TT-01D type E. Currently assembling it and this will be my first journey into the drift side of RC |
