drifting

sorry if i sound stupid but can anyone tell me what drifting is ? i seen the forum and was interested to find out .i think it is when you drift sidways around a turn like dirt track racing on a oval track , but not totaly sure in this case. i'm not new to r/c's but need to know about this for my own curiosity.

RE: drifting

it is basically what you just said about dirt tracks but drifting in japan is based off style... not who gets there first... unless your doing an all out initial-d type thing

its about going around the turn in a "understeer" while the rear tires have broken traction and when the turn ends trying to keep the sliding pace to set up the inertia for the next turn...

try searching the net on drifting you should find alot of info

hope this helps
