TT01 Drifter

After some chatting and searching it seems like the tt01 is the way to go becasue of the availability of parts. But how much better is the TA03 than the tt01 for drifting???? Is the tt01 still decent???

TA-03F has motor in front = better drifter. kinna more similar to a FR 1:1 CAR. engine in front rear wheel drive....but for 1/10 you still need the 4 wheel drive. the TT-01 isnt too bad. i must stress the need for an aluminium prop shaft though.

My tt-01 drifts like a mad man dude, it's got all kinds of hopups. I got paid today and I'm spending more on the hopups for it than I actually did for the car! Kinda sad, but it all pays off. And yes, it is imparative that you get the aluminum prop shaft for it...I've heard of people wearing holes in their chassis because the prop shaft was flimsy and off balance all the time and I can understand that, it is pretty cheesy! Get yourself some abs tires on there and find some fresh blacktop and you'll think you're on ice...it's great lol.

i own a TT01 and it drifts great, especially if your trying to drift having a stock car. the TT01 has many upgrades but you really shouldnt get that much into make it a perfect drifter. the new HPI sprint 2 is made especially for drifting, as i was told

Even the TT-01 will drift fine. If the motor is in the front, I really don't think it'll make much of a difference. Why are you people caught up on the realism on the layout? You wanna buy a car just because the motor is in the front? No offense, but many of the threads/posts here are sad... :(

the TT-01's motor is in the rear, once the battery is in place you can buy threaded shocks and adjust them to be soft in the rear a little stiff in the front.
