Just getting into drifting
I'm just starting out in drifting and wanted to know what everybody thought about the 1/10 Trinity T-Spec kit? It's only $99 on Tower and it's AWD, comes with ball diffs, bearings all around, pillow ball suspension, and it's fully adjustable! I'm kinda new to drifting but this kit seems to be the right price and a good staring platform for drifting.Plus it doesn't come with any electronics so I'll get to pick my own stuff.Will this be a good kit for drifting?

umm yeah the most important is shaft drive becouse you want awsome power for the wheels and get some awsome body from yokomo and you will be rockin and dont forget the wheels and tires and drfit pakage from yokomo like wing and stuff ;)

The bodies are the only thing I was worried about. It says it takes 190mm bodies but with the pillow ball suspension all around you should be able to adjust the width enough to accommodate the 200mm Yokomo bodies.I just figured for a 100 bucks it was a good starting platform. Stormer Hobbies has them even cheaper too.

yea, the trinity t-spec would be awesome. it has all the adjustability you need at an awesome price. any 4wd kit will be good for drifting. alot of expensive pro kits use graphite, which is stiff, but a good smack in the boards can warp, or even snap a graphite deck. the trinity uses a plastic compound, so it is a little more flexible, but becuase of the flexibility, it is much more durable. if you would like a review, go to [link=http://www.rccaraction.com]www.rccaraction.com[/link] click the articles section and you'll find it there.

Well I picked up a Factory Team TC3 instead of the T-Spec. I found it on Ebay and couldn't pass up te price!!! It's damn near brand new and I got it for less than half the price!! Now I need some setup tips. Camber, caster, toe, shock oil, spring rates and stuff like that. I imagine the stiffer the better with negative camber all around. What about the motor? 19T, 27T, modified..what???
