hmm... i was actually about to order a trinity p2k2 pro... would u guys suggest the 23t team atlas over the trinity? i was always under the impression that a 27t would have more torque and be better for drifting.

By all means, get a trinity stock class motor. You'll regret getting something else because chances are your local shop doesn't support the Japanese Team Atlas products for any questions or support you may need. I recommend the Monster stock over the p2k2 hands down, more torque and rmp's for about the same price, can't beat it.

meh, screw all that, get the 11t team atlas, this thing flies with one of them in it, and the alloy shaft. mine goes so fast, and had plenty of torque to drift with. anything about 15t is wasting ur time :(

How about backing up your statement with some facts... Maybe his e.s.c. can't handle an 11T motor... Maybe you're talking out your backside because an 11T Team Atlas is all you've had... It's a fact that stock motors have more low end torque than mod motors, which is what you need when drifting because chances are you have ABS tires and traction or the lack thereof is at a bare minimum making a mod motor a waste of money because it's performance comes out in the top end.

So, 'meh', screw his opinion and stick with your decision of a Trinity stock class motor.

I will give you credit for the effort you made, but you proved nothing... if that's fast, then you've got some problems dude. That 'high speed' run was no more than 5-10mph like a stock motor does, sorry. Proof: SG Drifters, most of them, if not all, use stock motors and go faster than your car just did. Now that that's over with, you can clearly see buying a Trinity stock 27T motor is the way to go. ;)

hrm, i know that it all makes sense on paper, but with the low turn motors u can hold the drifts so well and change to a new drift so easy with all the wheel spin u make up, im not trying to start fights on here, just trying to give the advide that i think is good, just try a low turn motor one day....im sure u'll be impressed, coz i did go try that stock tin can like u mentioned and i prefered the other motor, shich is currantly down becuase i have worn the brushes to nothing :(

When have I suggested a tin can ( Tamiya silver )? I suggested a Trinity stock class motor, the best stock motors available. As for trying a mod motor, I've done that. I used to race mod and stock class for 2 years. I no longer play with electrics unless it's to fix a problem with a friends' rig or to test out something hot at the race track. I wasn't trying to start a fight either, I was giving the advice that I know is best for drifting.
