New drifting car
I'm looking to get into drifting but i need a decent and inexpensive one.
|
RE: New drifting car
ok..so buy an inexpensive and decent one after youve discovered what your personal preferances are as to wich car you like..i use HPI nitro rs4 3 type ss
|
RE: New drifting car
Electric: Tamiya, Associated, Losi
Nitro: HPI, Associated I use a HPI Nitro RS4 3 EVO, works great. |
RE: New drifting car
I was lookin at the tamiya 4wd baja champ and was wonderin if it was a good drifter
|
RE: New drifting car
Drifting isn't an off-road sport in its popular form, so I'm not going to recommend you get an off-road car to drift with. Trying to buy a single R/C to do everything with isn't recommended either. If you're looking to drift and bash around in parking lots on a budget I recommend a Tamiya TL-01.
|
RE: New drifting car
dont get a tl-01, your better off gettin a tt-01 cuz the tl-01 doesnt have as much hop-ups as the tt-01. besides, more people use the tt-01 and it is growing phenomanally
|
RE: New drifting car
Yeah, but it seems like he's on a tight budget if he was looking at the baja champ.
|
RE: New drifting car
The Tamiya TL-01 is a really good car and it has lots of hop-ups.
I got one it is really good. :D |
RE: New drifting car
if you are on a tight budget save up $220 and get the RTR RC10TC3. all you will need is a charger and a battery.
|
RE: New drifting car

|
RE: New drifting car

|
RE: New drifting car

RTR- Around $240 |
RE: New drifting car

RE: New drifting car

RE: New drifting car
ORIGINAL: cssdev ORIGINAL: blackraven64 not really sure You also have to worry about a drift kit, and they aren't too cheap (I think). If you want to drift for cheap, buy an xmod and spend $15 on their drift kit. Not too be mean, but is $75 too much for you? |
RE: New drifting car
lol no it's not
|
RE: New drifting car
Ok just making sure!
|
RE: New drifting car
" You also have to worry about a drift kit "
What drift kit are you talking about? If you're talking about the Stage-D conversion, it's only for the Nitro RS4 3 from HPI and not required to drift. The only thing required to drift is a 4wd chassis, drift tires and somewhere to drift. That's what makes it fun. |
RE: New drifting car
I'm gonna stop looking for a "cheap" drifting car so can u guys give me any good suggestiions?
