|
RE: Drifting Trucks

RE: Drifting Trucks
and theyll probaly kick me off for saying that, there is no freedom here, thats why i go to racesauce.com all the freedom you want w/ no supid ppl watching every word you say

RE: Drifting Trucks
It is a handful to drift with an R/C RWD car, but somehow, in real life, it;s easier to drift a RWD car than a 4WD or the almost impossible FWD cars
|
RE: Drifting Trucks
i want to drift my Smartech buggy, it is 4WD but i heard tthat a RC drift cart must be FWD, is that true
|
RE: Drifting Trucks
I wanna start drifting with my RC18T (mini stadium truck) its 4WD:D!!! but I dont know if that is possible. I heard that to make drifting tires you can put duct tape over your foams or something like that. I haven't tried that but when i get into a drift I usually cant keep enough speed to get out of the corner. Usually to get a drift I start out going full speed ahead and tap the brakes (which are really just anti lock brakes, so the wheel won't lock up) and turn the wheel, and for a minute i'll get a good drift but it never holds for long. I'm using the pin tires that is came with but they are worn down to the point that they are smoother than my foams:eek:! Is there something that I'm doing wrong, or is it the tires? thanx for your help

|
RE: Drifting Trucks
Just get a Traxxas Spirit if you want to drift a "truck". And what were you saying about FWD rcs? You mean RWD?
|
RE: Drifting Trucks
no fwd you can get fwd rc cars like that tamiya thing
Editted for language. |
RE: Drifting Trucks
BaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaH k. first of all who ever said that u can drift a fwd RC ....ur on drugs...and who ever said that u can drift a RwD RC u are also on drugs .....its not the same as in real life ......u do 360'z all day if u try to drift a RWD RC and now as far as drifting a smartech buggy....get some large PVC to fit over ur stock rimms...and thats about all u can do ....a truck isnt really meant for drifting ...nor is any MT. and HPI nitro stage D tires work awsome on any nitro tourning car.
|
RE: Drifting Trucks
^^^ shut up u know nothing about drifting.... ok first technicly fwd is possible with a hand break......rwd on rc is possible but with load on a side. .... electic trucks can drift just the settings and the tires....fwd can also power slide.[sm=RAINFRO.gif]

RE: Drifting Trucks
RC's don't have a hand brake, persay. When equipped with a front one-way, you get the e-brake EFFECT.
|
RE: Drifting Trucks
exactly no handbreak....just like i said....and also for racecarking123 so now ur daddy's subaru is from japan now eh...... ya right.....and P.S i never disputed the fact that it wasnt an import...of corse subaru'zz are an import they sure as hell aint amurrican.
InTeGrA ALSO A POWERSLIDE ISNT DRIFTING>>>>>look up the real meaning of a drift FOOL. |
RE: Drifting Trucks
Powersliding actually is a form of drifting. A powerslide is when you break loose past the entrance of the turn, usually right after the apex. The same goes with power over drifting.
