Thinking About Drifting.........
I recently moved from the desert to the city. I only have an RC10GT and it is not that much fun on the street, so i was thinking about getting an On-Road Nitro Car. I want to be able to race it and drift with it. I have been leaning towards the Nitro HPI RS4 3 Evo, and was wondering what you guys think about the Stage D drift kit. Would the Stage D chassis still be good for racing, or would i have to switch chassis every time i wanted to race or drift. Any suggestions would be helpful.

RE: Thinking About Drifting.........
ok the whole kit is going to be like around 450-530 alot..... you dont have to change anything to race. the kit was to put the engine in the mid part so the weight is balanced so it can race jus by switching to rubbers or foams. so i would go with electric. tc4 or tt-01. pvc or abs

Are the electrics better for drifting or can you still drift good with nitros? I would rather have a nitro, so do you think that the RS4 would be the best for a mix between racing and drifting?

RE: Thinking About Drifting.........
Any 4wd will do for drifting nitro or electric, although electric is the preferred choice. With the Stage D kit you get an amazing set up for drifting which costs about 10x what a 10ft tube of PVC would cost and you'd have close to the same end result. If you're serious about it, go with the upgrade but it's not at all necessary to have a great drifter, heck, my drifter is my cheapest setup! Not to mention nothing breaks on it outside of normal wear and tear.
