Drifting Rustler

I want to make my rustler drift, or at least lose all traction that the truck has. I know that in real life many drifter use rwd so I figure hey, why not make my rustler drift. I was " drifting" on the tile in my garage yesterday when i thought of it. I'm thinking pvc tires. Any tips?

I made some pvc tires for my rwd stadium truck and the drifting was ok for about a week, then i took them off and bought a tt01 to drift with. Save yourself the time and energy and go right to the 4wd chassis car if u want to drift. Trust me i've been there

My friend has an old stadium truck that I want to buy, fix and sell. If he lets me do that I'm planning on buying a car kit. A tc3 if I could afford it. Until then, drifting rustler.Tips?

it will be extremly hard with a rwd rustler. because first no traction the back wheels meaning with less traction less movement with the front wheels. all 4 wheels need to be turning and slding while drifting rc's. im not saying its impossible but extremly hard. i suggest don't do it.. or dont get pipe. go with yokomo rubber or rings.

How would the rings work on the stadium truck tires? It thought that the tires would be too big.

they wont, but you should not try to drift any car, truck, plane or boat thats not 4wd the scale makes it impossible...

if you ever decide you want to buy a cheaper drifter, contact me... ive got one i wouldnt mind getting rid of... i need more money[&o]

I drifted my X-Cell on the concrete on my bare rims. Its pretty easy to control but it will take you a while to learn the ropes.

drifting on rims would be hard on the rims, i was fooling around with my rustler in my garage and it did drift, but it would be near impossible to do it on asphalt. i dont think anything could really help you.

Its extremly hard to drift with a rusty. I tried using mine with the stock tires that are completely bald (hey the stock tires arent extactly made in a soft compound) and I caught a few drifts around a turn but its extremly hard and most of the time it just ends up with you spinning out or doing donuts. I think its possible but its not easy at all. Now drifting my t-spec on the other hand.............
