RE: t-spec
I have mine set up for carpet racing. To make it drift, all I do is raise the susp. alittle, and stick some ABS tires on. I use my practice body, becasue its already banged up:D

RE: t-spec
does it drift well? i might be getting one for my b-day on dec.21. or for christmas.

RE: t-spec
yeah man, mine drifts great, theres a thread a few ways down on the drifting page that shows all of the settings you need, for some reason mine doesnt have that good of a turning radius, but besides that, i love it, good quality, at a low price.

RE: t-spec
Just wondering here since Im a new owner of a t-spec, how many of you guys use the rear swaybar when drifting? Would it be any easier to drift without it? Right now Im using electrical tape over the stock tires because they wear too quickly on asphalt and I dont want to have to keep buying replacement tires so I just wrapped these about 3 times with electrical tape and its been working fine. Im just wondering if that swaybar is making a difference or not. Im going to have to make a gear cover for it soon as I get my rally tires. [>:]

RE: t-spec
i cant remember where i heard it but i heard the sway bar makes the rear more stable in return making it harder to slide the rear out

ORIGINAL: chalmation-nation what would i need to convert a trinity t-spec into a drifter? this is the car: http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...6&I=LXGVU5&P=K REQUIRES: Radio: 2-channel with 1 Servo Radio Batteries: (8) AA size Speed Control: Electronic, of modelers choice Motor: 550 Battery: 6-or 7-cell with standard connector Stick pack Charger: AC/DC timed or peak for 6-cell battery Body: 190mm On-Road Sedan Paint: Polycarb Spray Paint That's just to run the damn thing. Aside from that, if you want to drift, you'll need drifting tires(via. ABS pipe or PVC pipe or Company-made tires) and you'll need to lock the rear differential. |

Whoa I just noticed. It says you need a 550 motor? Is that a typo or something?
