Beginner exercises?

ive been trying to drift circles around a coke can but no matter what i cant seem to get the car sliding.

with the controller what am i supposed to do? any tips?

do i need to pick up speed first?

i really dont know how to enter the drift.
i can get the car sliding but its not a controlled slide, more a thrashing slide :) hehehee

You have ABS right? It should be easy.
