Dif

I have been in rc cars for about 15 years but all have been 2wd.. I bought a TC4 and it came with a one way drive gear and a solid dif.. My question is what would these be good for?? I race my car on carpet and it is doing great as is in the oval class but not sure if these would be of any use for me or not.. Please help..

RE: Dif

the one way is meant to be used in the front and it will help you power out of turns better because it lets the front wheels coast rather than dragging down by the slow down in your engine . but it also complately removes the brakes on your front wheels lol. its not recomended for carpet. also the slod diff basically the same thing but still gives you a bit of brakes. other than that try em out and practice with them they might work for your style of driving
