front vs rear tires
 

alright so i have a set of abs tires they slide well but im not getting enough steering control. what im considering doing was using abs rears and then foam tires in electical tape with about 3 or 4* camber on the front. will this worl well? or will there be too much of a difference front and rear causing it to spin out with no control?

well... today i ran the Tamiya D-Spec tyres on the back of my TT-01 and some yokomo hard drift tyres up front (more grippy than the tamiya items)

and it seemed to go pretty nicely. plenty of happy tail out action and alot less understeering. i'll try some proper road tyres on the front tomorrow and see how that goes.

I tried cutting bicycle inner tubes to 1/2 the width of the wheels, flipped them inside out, slipped them over the ABS's for a little more control (the width of the rubber will shrink as you stretch them), they seem to work well so far.

thats a really good idea, how much camber do you run on the wheels when you do that?
