HI EVERONE JUST LETTING YOU GUYS NOW THAT THERE IS A DRIFTING GAME OUT CALLED TOYKO EXTREAM RACING DRIFT FOR THE PS 2 (PLAYSTATION 2) I BEEN WAITING FOR THIS GAME TO COME TO AMERICA FOR ONE YEAR! ANYWAYS THIS GAME ROCKS AND ITS THE BEST DRIFTING GAME OUT RIGHT NOW. DONT GET IT CONFUSED WITH TOYKO EXTREAM RACING ZERO .

try target or fry's elecrtonics they have it even target and kmart may have it. i think it came out on 10 of may its only like $15 sweet deal for a new game :D:D THAT D1GRANDPRIX SHOULD BE GOOD. WHEN IT HITS U.S GENKI

I just orderd mine and it will be here in 3-4 days. Can't beat a 19.99 game.


Another good drifting game is Initail D for PSP Its all in japanese but it plays on the US spec PSP and its not hard to figure it out.

The TXR series is PS2 only. And Yuke's is STILL debating whether or not the US is ready for a D1 game.

royjovero, i went to 2005 grand prix and they had it there! the guy said sometime this summer ill come out in the u.s tell then i think tokyo extrime racer drift will be number one on my book. just becuase the roads are that of real japan mountian passes. fact is that they used lasers to map the real mountians passes to add to this game sweet.:D there is alot of detail for a came that came out in japan 2 years ago or was it 3 cant remmber but i do now that there is already a kaido battle 2 in japan (tokyo extream drifter) when ill come out i dont no. i bet ill be a long time [:o]

i bought TXR drift awhile ago iv been playing it since i got it its a pretty good game the physics are a little wierd but its still a really good game.

That was the Japanese game. I played it too. It's just that Yuke's hasn't announced an official release date, and I wouldn't be surprised if it doesn't come out til like Christmas. As for the D1GP game itself, it was fun, but controls were kinda twitchy.

TXRD is a decent game. Cars are on the older side, cuz let's face it, it's just the US port of Kaido Battle 1.

silent echo try fornza or something like that for the xbox i think you can set cars up for drifting try searching for videos in yahoo for fornza. i think thats how you spell it im not shore.

The initial d game is identical to the arcade game. The controls are good and the physics are great, cars are good and have upgrades, game play is alittle repeative but its a race game so you go around a track. The only thing that I don't like is its all in japanese so you have to go throw all the menus and learn them to be able to play it good. But its still my fav. PSP game

i cant wait until later this week b\c i should be getting my mod chip for my ps2 so i can play Initial D Special Stage and I'm also getting Initial D Street Stage for the psp (thank god i bought a Japanese psp 4 months before it came out in the US :D:D:D:D:D:D) even tho its compatable on all versions of the psp

Gran turismo 4 is still better for more realistic drifting. TXRD is more of an arcade.

ya but i liked this game more because it was harder to get a good drift on Gran turismo 4. another pretty good drifting game is forza

u guys should try virtual rc. they hav drifting modes on it. but it's for PC only
