updated VID!!, TT01 drifting
I just finished my tt01. got some PVC pipes as tires and everything is bone stock but i do have the ball bearings installed. I will update this with some pics and i'll try to get a video in within a few days. Have to warn you guys, i'm only 14 and don't have much exprience in drifting. Any comments/advice is good like how the car is and what to upgrade next and things like that!!

RE: new finished tt01, also, post some of your drifters pics
I see you have the Bearings done.. Well Done..
What About the Alloy Prop Shaft to replace the Plastic one it has?? If you have done this , then this is All you really need to become a Street Drifter.. Nice Choice in Using PVC but you will need a Nice Open Smooth surface to Drift on. Away from Pot Plants, Gutters , Poles and Drains. Remember with PVC, It will take about 1.5 metres to Brake From Top sliding. Start With Some Very Simple Drift Techniques, Grab Two Soft Drink Bottles.. Place thm about 1.5 metres away from each other and Just Practice Drifting around them in a Nice Figure 8 pattern, Once you have this down pretty well, Try a Constant Oval around Both.. Then Slowly Make the Oval Bigger so you can get control of some nice High Speed Slides. Remember to Constantly Adjust Your Throttle and Your Steering.. With PVC, it will like to slide alot more then with Rubber. Drifting is no where as easy as it looks but once you have car Control.. You will be Impressed with Your Sliding. I look Forward to seeing Your TT-01 in Action.. Remember, Always Drift with the Shell on.. its Job is to make sure the chassis doesnt get bashed too badly and to protect the Electrics.. |

RE: new finished tt01, also, post some of your drifters pics, vid finally works!!!
Nice FreeStyle Sliding.. Just Need to get the Back out a little more but you sure have got it down pretty good.
Yes, The Car will slow Down during a Drift, As you loose Grip, the car loose momentum and will slow down till it retains Grip again.. Never seen a Ferrari Slide Before.. Wicked ! |

RE: updated VID!!, TT01 drifting
Congratulations: I now Dub Thee A Street Drifter..
Well Done.. |
RE: updated VID!!, TT01 drifting
thank you!!! i'm ordering the heatsink and new rims in a while, te37, black 0mm offset in front and 6 mm in rear. want to get alloy shaft also THANKS!!
|
RE: updated VID!!, TT01 drifting
Why not go 6mm All Round and Grab a 200mm HPI Skyline, Supra or RX7 body .. The 6mm Offset will allow you to fill out th guards nicely
Or is This more for your Enzo? As I think the Stock rims you have now have 3mm OffSet as it is (I dont like Black rims, its a personal Choice, Black rims go well with White cars just I dont like them on any others) |
RE: updated VID!!, TT01 drifting
Great job you have come a long way in a short time.
