Instead of going in a straight line, go sideways. viola. You're drifting.

Okay. No. Seriously. First, that's a sort of general question. Were you looking for technique or were you looking for vehicle set-up? If you're looking for technique, there's two main ones used in r/c. However, I will first direct you to the "NOOBS" forums. Check these as they will get you started on your quest for drift. Rather you're a NOOB to r/c or not, you're a NOOB to drifting. If your questions aren't answered there, ask something specific and we shall respond with an answer.

The TT-01D is a Nice Choice and Will Slide Fine with Some ABS (black poly pipe) Tyres

As For a How to on Sliding..

1. Smooth Surface
2. ABS/PVC Tyres with a 27T or Drift radials with a 19x2T

Find a Nice open Smooth Surface..
Place Two Objects about 1.5 metres apart from each other and then Drive Around them , using a Combination of Sharp turning and Throttle applications to kick out the tail then throttle control to Hold the tail out whilst Turning.

Method 1: ABS/PVC Tyres: The Half Throttle, Turn Kick
To perform a Simple slide.. Engage the throttle to only half way, Then Sharply Turn the Car and Hammer the Throttle trigger.. This Will Cause the Tail to Kick out

Method 2:
The Floor it, Brake Turn Flick..
To do a Long slide.. Hammer the Throttle gather some Speed , Lift off the trigger, Sharp turn then Nail the Throttle.. this done properly will result in a Nice Fast Long Slide.. Too Much Steering will cause a Spin so be Prepared to Counter Steer.

Everyone has there own way to slide and how to perform that Slide will come with Practice..
Depending on the track or the Drift you want to perform will depend on how you go about doing it..
RC Drifting is no where near as Easy as it looks..

easiest way is to feint. right before you wana drift turn the opposite way then flick the other way to cause a loss of traction. theres many ways to do it. magnat explained a few methods but its mostly about throttle control.

Just practice and expirement. You'll find the best techniques for your set-up and probably improve a lot just trying to find the best possible way to drift your car.
