RE: My Drifting vid. cehck it out!!
thx mag,, also what will i gain by using abs?
|
RE: My Drifting vid. cehck it out!!
hey mag, where is a good place to buy shells and rims? i have checked out yokomo and they're pretty good, but do i have any other options?
|
RE: My Drifting vid. cehck it out!!
um.. YES
HPI, Tamiya and Proline all make Rims to suite the TT-01.. All Touring Car Rims (52mm) with a 12mm Hex will fit the TT-01 Your sliding well on PVC, no need to Step back to ABS ! ABS will offer more Grip and a More realistic looking Tyre but will wear out Quicker.. Stick with PVC, its Cheaper.. |
RE: My Drifting vid. cehck it out!!
so pvc is more difficult to drift on than abs?
|

RE: My Drifting vid. cehck it out!!
hey all, im getting ready to order new wheels.. i know i need 52mm, but what hex do i need? i cant remember if its 10 or 12 hex that i need
|
RE: My Drifting vid. cehck it out!!
also when i go to places like HPI's website and look at wheels for touring cars, all of say they only fit a 26mm tire.. thats a ways off from 52mm
|
RE: My Drifting vid. cehck it out!!
Good stuff! 8/10- if anything, you sometimes overshot the corner and ended up losing speed, but it's good? (I guess trying to drift your Mini-T does help.)
Btw, 52mm is only the diameter, the 26mm is the width. Most drift tires are 26mm, so you'll need a 26mm rim unlike some touring wheels which are 24mm. |
RE: My Drifting vid. cehck it out!!
k thx ;-)
|
RE: My Drifting vid. cehck it out!!

RE: My Drifting vid. cehck it out!!
Touring Car rims are 52mm x 26mm or 24mm Thick.
