tape drifting

hey i noticed that after i started getting better at drifting i was ripping off the electrical tape over my wheels after around a few minutes..now ive been drifting on black top....would it shred less in my garage...whatever they use in garages...the garage seems pretty smooth

Tape will rip VERY quikly on blacktop. In the garage it shud last longer being that its smooth concrete.
Thats mainly the reason y i stopd using it, I got tired of replacing it.

use pvc if you have a car that will work with it.. works alot better, and wont have to replace near as often.

actually, Abs hold's a longer, truer "drift". PVC likes to spin out, and wear faster.

true but there is no one around here that sells abs....ive asked all the hardware stores and they dont carry them....will yokomo tires work? are they any good?

Ask around for alternatives to ABS like PE or PPE

Yea i tried tape to but it just ripped off my yokomo hiper silvia s15 in minutes. Now i have invested in some yokomo drift tyres which are incredable.[img][/img]
