ok well i have a nitro car and i saw this drifting video and i thought it was awesome also my little brother loves it he said he wanted one so im thinkin tht mayb for his bday ill get him one, http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXJSV9&P=7 <<< is tht one any good? or re there better ones im planning to spend no more than 200 for now and re they driftable out the box and very upgradable?

yeah that one is actually #1 for newbies, but how old is your bro? cause if hes too young he might crash it fast and break it, i made a mistake letting a 7 year old use my nitro, a minute later bam it goes into a wall, but the tt-01 is user frendly so you shouldnt have any problems with it, and also if you want to drift it you'll have to get either drift tires or abs piping

Stock TT01's are slow.
He should have no problem driving it. Cause parts aren't that expensive. But you should get some extra carriers, axles, etc., incase something happens.

hes 10 but hes driven my nitro be4 and hes pretty good at it but wat kind of tires and spares do u recommend and how slow re they lol

another question what would be a fast but good to drift with motor? and what kind of esc will i need for tht kind of motor? thnx

Pick up some 2" abs pipe from home depot or any local hardware store.. some places don't carry it. Be sure to order an aluminum prop shaft and bearings if the car doesn't already have it and he's set!

U gonna be drifting the nitro??

lrp r good, i use them.. if he is new to drifting the stock tin can will be o.k.. i would suggest blue tac in the diffs but if you get good enough tyers he should be o.k... i woulg get the yoko tyers, i have ordered them, i just think the jap's realy no how to make drift cars so they should..( technicly).. be able to produce good tyers, we sell them in our shop and no complaints yet!!:D

as for the tto1.. good choice for a 10year old, he will love it!!
and as poweredbynitro say.... get the alum prop shaft!!..
