Needing help

Hello i am just wondering on some things. I am looking into getting a car just for drift. Im currently looking at the Team associated TC4 and the Team Losi JRXS and wondering which is better to set up for it. Im also wondering what is meant by locking the diffs and what difference it makes. Thank you all that help me with this! It is greatly appreciated.

When people say "locking" the diff, they mean make it a straight axel. Meaning the diff isn't in any use at all.

Ohh ok I see. What difference does it make to the car? Also any ideas on the car people?

I'd go with the JRXS. But if you go that route, make sure you get the JRXS Type-R. It's leaps and bounds better.

As for the diffs, don't lock them. The TC4 and JRXS both come with excellent ball diffs. So tighten the rear until it's just about locked, and the front just a smidge looser.

This may seem stupid, but is the JRX-S Type-R called the JRX-S Racing sedan???
