I don't understand this concept. In reality people get killed in Oaktown because they are near these events. The drivers seem to get away. And you want to make rc versions of this? Just go out and run someone over and go to jail forever. Don't put the rc cars into that mix. The gov wants to take them away already, no extra reasons please.

Also you want to mention deaths caused by drifting accidents....well i guess the world should ban WRC because a LOT more people have died from being on the side of the road to view the event.

People in Oakland were killed by sideshows, not drifting. Sideshows are just gatherings where people do donuts all night. There are no attempts in trying to control the tire slippage, nor do they actually drift around corners.

OK.. Some one Needs to stop flying the plane and Ground it..

RC Drifting has very little to do with Burnouts and Crap that Real Hoons do in real life..
Real Drifters are skilled Drivers who dont do it on public roads..

I don't know to this day a person who has been killed by an RC Drifting car, The whole point of RC drifting is car control at relatively low speeds with little traction..
Not High Speed break neck speeds...

More people have been killed with RC Boats, Planes and Helicopters then with an RC drift car..

Most RC Drifters are too poor to drift a real car as they know that drifting a 1:10th or 1/18th is expensive enough..(Not all of us, but most of us lol)



I mean I could say the same reason for RC Planes

Kill the thread after this post... I think all the fumes from airforce dudes planes are playin wit his vision. He probly saw F&F Tokyo Drift n saw that ppl died... Then he got sad... and went EMO... So now he doesnt understand y wer doin such a "dangerous" thing wit our RC's. Like Magnat said no ones bin killed from drifting. Now, if the Red Baron over here could shine some light on the injury part i would greatly appreciate it. Now if u excuse me ima go drift n "kill" my neighbor wit my MicroRS4... Goodnite my friends n plz dont Drink n Drift u wudnt wana hurt ne one wile goin 3MPH....:)

Man I teach Kids how to RC Drift and the worst Injury I have copped yet was a High Speed slide to the shins with a TT-01 with a 19x2T at full speed..

RC Drift is only Dangerous if Your a moron and try to Drift on a Street During peak Traffic but then Your car will die before You do..

lol. Its also only dangerous when a real car runs over it, and flatens its tires, and then causes a big accident. However, we are damn good with our drifts, and not stupid at all to do somethin like that. When someone drives down my street when I drift, I simply park my car in my driveway until they pass by. Then I gon bout my bidness[8D]
