And with pvc piping, i dont understand how it works, do you glue them onto the rims? if so how do u get htem off lol ? |
RE: Help please.
A HPI RS4 will Drift good on Drift Radials..
Your gonna risk over heating if You use ABS/PVC on a Nitro as it will be reving its head off.. |

ORIGINAL: ewoo all i said how does electric tape work, cause i dont want to order some wheels worth like $40 ? ten pay $70 for shipping k lol.. So will electric tape work alright ? |
RE: Help please.
e-tape works pretty simply: you wrap about 10 times around each tire in the middle of it the tire or wrap the whole tire (i wrap the whole tire) its like slicks but slicker. Works pretty well. if you get a nice surface then the tape can last for a while (ex: smooth concrete, carpet, fresh tarmac)

RE: Help please.
Sparten, im asking for help, if i didnt want your help then i would " do what i like ".
Any ways, driftdrift, e-tape should be fine for a HPI Nitro RS4 3 Evo RTR on smooth surfaces? Cheers |
RE: Help please.
Hey We are jus showin you that E-tape,or even ABS and PVC, for a nitro drifter, is gonna burn that engine up. Now we gave you a fair warning, my friend. If you want to do your E-tape, thats fine wit me.
And for your sake, if you ever read a few posts down, it says that nitros cost more money to drift,so. and drift tires for nitros are never cheap. Keep in mind about dat engine.....hmmmhmmmm[>:]....Keep in mind |
RE: Help please.
Hey spartan chill. he was jus askin a simple ?. ''EWOO'' try out the e-tape n let us kno how it worx out for u. Others wit nitros mite wana try it out if theyre on a tight budget. Good Luck wit it
|
RE: Help please.
its people like him that make it hard for experts to help out. ahh well. squash that

RE: Help please.

RE: Help please.
good vid for someone barely puttin any gas on that. Have you seen HPI's Stage D drift vid? I mean dont get me wrong thats excellent for a nitro drifting on a small surface. But you gas that 4tec on pvc,in an open area.....whoooooooo, thats it for the engine. If you wanna nitro drift without gunnin it, Im sorry I didnt understand at first. As long as you drift without gunnin the nitro on pvc, youll be fine. For a nitro budget drifter, that was damn good
